Martha Jackson is bringing clothing to life, reviving and rejuvenating…demonstrating how you can be fashionable and sustainable, after all, the most sustainable piece is the one you already own.
Because she loves clothes, Martha decided to get creative instead of tossing her clothes (to stay trendy). She started her business, Restored by Design, by upcycling from her own closet. Now she creates one of a kind, handmade art to wear pieces expressing her feminine boho chic style. She uses up vintage lace and fabrics along with preloved materials, excess fabrics and sustainably made authentic textiles…keeping them out of landfills. Much of her work tells a story of upcycling and artful reinventing showing her dedication to making this a better planet for the future!!!!
